Vietnamese films are leading the way, with seven films already grossing over 100 billion VND in just quarter one of 2025, including Chị dâu, Bộ tứ báo thủ, Nụ hôn bạc tỷ Đèn âm hồn, Nhà gia tiên, Quỷ nhập tràng, and Địa Đạo: Mặt trời trong bóng tối.��

Globally, the film and video market continues its upward trajectory. The Business Research Company predicts the rise from $308.47 billion in 2024 to $328.49 billion in 2025, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.5%.��

These figures highlight the immense potential of the entertainment industry in both Vietnam and worldwide. Furthermore, macroeconomic policies relating to Vietnam’s cultural industries are drawing positive attention. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has set a target for cinema to develop as both an art form and an economic sector, specifically contributing 7% of the national GDP by 2030.����������
