Nguyen Ngoc Quy

Nguyễn Ngọc Quý is a 3D artist, educator, and researcher based in Hanoi. He completed his undergraduate studies in Contemporary Creative Practice at Staffordshire University and later finished a Master of Research in the Arts at Arts University Bournemouth, where his work explored generative art as an approach to documenting Vietnam’s intangible cultural heritage.
Quý is a Teaching Fellow at BUV in the School of Computing & Innovative Technologies, where he teaches across Game Arts and Game Design modules. His academic practice centres on guiding students through concept development, 3D production workflows, and portfolio-building, with a strong emphasis on supporting learners as they shape their artistic identity and develop professional 3D production skills for games.
Alongside teaching and research, Quý remains active in the creative industry through freelance 3D projects and collaborations in games, advertising, and digital exhibitions. His professional practice continually informs his pedagogy, blending contemporary art, technical proficiency, and reflective experimentation.
